SHOPS IN TOWN

Only four shops exist in Cyprus that sell snow equipment, four in Nicosia and one of them also in Limassol:

This shop has several additional branches throughout Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, and Paphos. All the outlets do not carry stocks of ski equipment, but the one in Ledra street does (deliveries between branches are possible of course). Also, ski maintenance and tuning is undertaken at the biggest branch located on Athinion Street.

This shop specializes in surfing and skiing equipment, and it also undertakes maintenance and tuning of ski equipment. Force 8 has recently opened a new branch in Nicosia.

ThreeSixty
43A Stassinou Str., 2003 Strovolos, Nicosia

Threesixty is the first surf-skate-snow shop in Cyprus. At Threesixty you can choose amongst a wide variety in casual wear as well as surf, skate and snow wear and equipment to set you up for all your activities. The store is conveniently situated in Strovolos, Nicosia about 500m away from the Hilton Hotel.  It is very easy to find as it is just off the motorway on your way into Nicosia main town.  As soon as you enter Nicosia from the motorway, ring the store and they can give you directions to the store.

This store is the only specialized all-around outdoor store in the island, offering everything from basic equipment for camping and outdoor sports clothes to specialized equipment for a variety of adventure sports, focusing on rock climbing, hiking and adventure travelling. Here you will find ski and snowboard wear from top brands and also useful outdoor accessories. Get Out is conveniently located at Arsinoes Av. (extension of Armenias Av.).

AT THE RESORT

At both the North Face (Zeus lift) and especially the Sun Valley area of the resort, there is ski equipment rental via the Cyprus Ski Cub "ski shop". But it pays to get there early as the rental equipment ranges from excellent high quality latest models to mediocre relics of 20+ years ago, and on busy weekends they all go pretty fast!

Occasionally the ski shop at Sun Valley offers some used equipment for sale at very reasonable prices. Ski equipment in Cyprus is not as expensive as one would think, and actually it compares favorably with most European countries. In town, you can find the latest models by Atomic, Salomon, Rossignol, Raichle, Marker, Salewa, Nidecker, Dakine, etc. Some of the shops occasionally provide second-hand equipment for sale.
